Dr. Fiona Kalinda is a distinguished infectious disease specialist and consultant at UMC Victoria Hospital with extensive expertise in managing and treating infectious diseases across Uganda. Holding a Ph.D., MBChB, MPH, and a Diploma in Tropical Child Health (DTCH), Dr. Kalinda is recognized for her comprehensive approach to diagnosing, preventing, and managing infectious diseases such as malaria, tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, and emerging viral infections.
Dr. Kalinda obtained her medical degree from Makerere University and further pursued specialized training in infectious diseases and public health, equipping her with the knowledge and skills to address complex health challenges.
